Can you sympathize or criticize this scenario about an English teacher giving up reading?

I just read a book Gutenberg Elegies. The author relates a story how when he was a used bookseller, he went to an English professors house to give a quote on purchasing his library. The English professor took the first (and very low price) immediately. The professor basically said, "I just want to get rid of them. They've cost me nothing but trouble." He then showed the book purchaser his study, and before entereing it, said, "This is why books have given me nothing buy heartache." He opened the door and showed the book dealer a computer.

I'm not sure what your asking here but i'm certain they are not speaking of more than one God. God is the father the son and the holy spirit. God is seen to almost be like 3 people inside the ONE GOD.

Books have been written throughout the ages and written in the manner for which people thought and spoke at the time. People have spent their entire lives "interpreting" what they perceived the author intended. I see no issues with you doing the same. Sometimes it is good to see from more than one point of view.

yes, i do like it! i am really need cash right now to do settle my problems. i helped a lot in here by answering people's questions. although it didnt help them very much but at least i did something. so if god really exists, then please help me!
