Do you think my teacher was unprofessional here?

Ok so this is the situation, i won't lie. My best friend and I are in Brit Lit or British Literature, and my best friend had a different group than I did. We had to do a presentation in groups of 4. My best friend didn't receive much help from her group, so it was a 1 person group. Well my best friend and her group started giving their presentation, and like my best friend doesn't have the neatest of handwriting, and our teacher was like "You need better handwriting, if not even you can read it!" like she yelled, she wasn't trying to be funny either, nor was she being like trying to help her improve, just pretty much seemed b!tchy. And like my best friend was having trouble reading like she was stuttering and our teacher mumbled to her "Ok just stop." And I couldn't understand what she said and neither could my best friend. So my best friend ask her "What?" and she mumbled again. And my best friend asked her "What?" again and like then she yelled again at my friend 2 times in the same day. She told her "Just stop! You are missing all the information!" and then she started going off on why she puts us in groups in the first place. But like I said before my friend was a one person group because her group didn't help her. And I felt like a teacher shouldn't just criticize one person in the group she should have said it to the entire group, but she just did it to my best friend. I thought that was unprofessional, especially if she made my best friend cry, because she took it to heart. Your thoughts?
