Is it true! Does treating a guy like **** make him nicer? Nd vice versa?

My mom told me that when she ever treated a guy like he was a king he would walk all over her nd treat her like ****, but she also said that when she treated like **** but not to meanly they would treat her like a queen. Is it tru? Nd if so how far to go with it? Do they notice? Lol
