Ideas for advent calendar ?

This year I thought it would be fun to have an advent calendar (well, its more like a little house with numbered doors) for my 4 & 3 year olds to open but I'm running out of ideas as to what to put behind each door. Any ideas - I don't want to do chocolate everyday? Thanks
