AIM Freeze?

for some reason after a while after talking to ppl for a while, whenever i open someones profile, the bordres around it dont show up. it also freezes at the same time. sometimes, when i open 2 IMs, the IM Window will stretch. i have to hit exit in order for this to refresh itself, but it will happen again. I'm using AIM 6. and the new 6.5 has the same problem. Someone tell me what is gonig on plz. thank you.
