An airplane which has a speed of 120 miles an hour in cal air is headed southeast. A wind having a velocity of 15 miles an hour is blowing from the southwest. (a) Find the magnitude and the direction of the velocity of the airplane with reference to the ground. (b) How must the airplane be pointed in order to fly southeast, and what will be its actual speed?
