How do I clean the fans of my laptop?

My laptop is making a lot of noise and I was told it could be a build up of dust on the fans, which is likely because it's nearly three years old and I've never cleaned it. It's an Advent 8212 if that makes any difference. Can anyone tell me how to clean them/it myself? Thanks a lot.
